In addition, we believe our work doesn't end when a job is completed! Therefore, we provide a property monitoring service, so that, even if far away, our clients have their homes in good hands.

“Trabalho com o Hans Kollande desde 2005, quando ele tinha 19 anos e se iniciou na construção civil. Fui aliás o primeiro cliente dele neste setor.
Nesses tempos a trabalhar ainda para outras empresas de construção, que então trabalhavam na aldeia do Soito / Góis, bem próximo do local onde cresceu, em poucas semanas passou de ajudante a profissional destacado, nomeadamente na construção em pedra e em madeiras.
Inteligente, responsável, competente e educado, e dominando várias línguas (português, alemão e inglês) rapidamente passou a trabalhar por conta própria e a ser o profissional mais requisitado da aldeia, onde conta com mais de uma dezena de obras, incluindo pequenos restauros e restauros integrais de casas em xisto.
Para mim, concretamente que fui o seu primeiro cliente o Hans, em termos individuais, ou através da HEK, Lda, foi responsável pelo restauro integral de 2 moradias e colaborou enquanto profissional de outras empresas na reconstrução de outras 2. Para além de muitas outras obras particulares, efetuou muitos outros trabalhos para a Comissão de Melhoramentos do Soito, que refletem também a sua competência, bom gosto e obviamente a sua formação permanente nos termos que atualmente se exigem aos profissionais da área.
A sua equipa cresceu e conta hoje com mais profissionais e com uma mais ampla área de atuação, que sem dúvida garantirão à HEK, Lda, um futuro promissor, o que é também uma mais-valia para as nossas aldeias.
O Soito Aldeia Preservada, que é sem dúvida uma das aldeias com mais visibilidade do concelho de Góis e da zona, muito devem ao profissionalismo, disponibilidade e com gosto do Hans Kollande e da HEK, Lda e dos seus colaboradores, pelo que eu próprio e a Comissão de Melhoramentos do Soito confiamos na sua competência para obras futuras.

“Ein Wunsch in meinem Leben weitere Zeit in Portugal zu verbringen realisierte sich im Zusammenhang mit verschiedenen Besuchen bei meinem Freund Thomas, durch den ich auch Hans Kollande in 2014 – 2015 in der Mitte Portugals in den Bergen der Sierra Lousa, kennenlernen durfte.
Ein Haus sollte es sein, nicht zu groß, historische Substanz, mit viel Herzblut, Charakter…
Gemeinsam hatten wir verschiedene Vorstellungen, Wünsche, Möglichkeiten besprochen und so nahm das Projekt XISTO-Haus in Tarrastal/Gois seinen Lauf.
Während der gesamten Planungs- und Bauzeit habe ich Hans Kollande als kompetenten Partner und folglich auch als Freund, einem versierten Baumeister der verschiedenen Gewerke, schätzen gelernt.
Es wurde so weit wie möglich nachhaltig gebaut unter Verwendung alter Bau- Materialien, auch die des ursprünglichen Hauses (Holz, Schiefer, Steine, usw.). Wunderschöne Schieferplatten des Daches wurden behutsam archiviert und fanden sich später in den Fußböden wieder.
Hans Kollande restaurierte das, was sinnvoll war, immer orientiert am aktuellen Stand der Baustelle, um so die historischen Gefüge, das Tradionelle, nicht aus den Augen zu verlieren, sich ergebende Änderungen/Notwendigkeiten zu berücksichtigen und sich letztendlich auch wieder behutsam dem Ortsbild anzupassen.
Hans Kollande schaffte eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre beim Innenausbau, bearbeitete alte vorhandene Kastanienbalken und und fügte Neue dazu.
Selbst eine kleine grüne Oase entstand im Patio mit einer traditionellen 70-jährigen Olive, ein Traum von Lebensqualität. Ideen wurden berücksichtigt, die sich im Laufe des Baufortschrittes ergaben. Hans Kollande zeigte sich auch hier immer geduldig und brachte viele Ideen des Machbaren mit ein.
Wenn man das alte kleine von Hans Kollande zum Leben erweckte XISTO-Häuschen heute von aussen betrachtet, so spricht die Leistung der Firma HEK für sich selbst.
Handwerk, Planung und Ausführung, Service auch nach dem Bau (!) sind absolut fachmännisch zu bewerten.
Alles in allem gebe ich hier guten Gewissens eine 5-Sterne Bewertung und kann HEK rückhaltlos empfehlen und der Firma eine interessante erfolgreiche Zukunft wünschen!

ecided to use Hans and his team to restore an old property in central Portugal after viewing two of his previous projects. His imagination and flair for sympathetic yet bold designs are very impressive. His ability to incorporate local materials along with obvious artistic talents are superb. Communications in English (for myself) made a world of difference during our initial chat and all the way through the build process (He speaks Portuguese, English and German) He has a great problem-solving attitude and was able to overcome many issues that crop up during construction. I highly recommend viewing any of his projects if you are considering using a building service in the area, the finished product speaks for itself. “About 12 years ago, I was introduced to Hans and his company HEK, through a real estate agent In Gois, Portugal.
I had come from Canada to Portugal to look for a small place to spend time in my retirement years. Away from snow and cold.
I consider it very fortuitous to have been introduced to Hans, because in the short time, that first visit, I felt comfortable with his presence and skill. So while I was still working in Canada, HEK under Hans’ capable direction re-constructed the smallest house in a very small village, which had NO permanent inhabitants. My ideas for the ‘Tiny-House’ project was understood, enhanced and executed by HEK and Hans to my delight and everlasting gratitude. Even with me many thousands of miles away, on another continent, my dream became reality.
